  Nice beach with a great play area for kids. Has a baseball field and an area for local bands to play for seniors on summer evenings (fiddle and country style music). Very nice views of the Newfoundland ferry going in and out of the harbour as well.

  Indian Beach Park will be undergoing a major renovation this summer (2017). Work includes beach improvements, relocation of existing performance shed including new concrete foundations and concrete floor slab, construction of new wooden performance deck, trellises and doors, a new parking area, relocated and renewed playground, new crushed stone paths, planting of trees and shrubery, and other decorative plants.

  I live just up the road from there been there lots in the summer awesome place for a walk with kids or not.

  Live music in the summer. Canteen services (during events, not always open). Nice playground with great sight lines for parents, and seating available. Garbage cans on site. Swings (baby+regular), slides, see-saws, and climbing structures. Concrete divider separating playground from beachfront. Small pieces of beach glass can be found. It is usually windy as it is right on the water, dress in layers.
